Crescent Chicken Dumpling

 

6- skinned, broiled chicken breasts

2- 6oz. Cans of water chestnuts

4- green onions finely chopped

4- Tbsp sherry

2- Tbsp soy sauce

60-80 wonton wrappers

Chop together 6 skinned broiled, chicken breasts with the water chestnuts. Add the chopped green onions. Marinate the ingredients with the sherry and soy sauce for one hour. Place one tablespoon of filling on a wonton wrapper and fold it over diagonally, bending into a crescent shape (if wrappers are stiff moisten them with a little water) Steam the dumplings over boiling water for 15-20 minutes.
